Lying To Myself

When I bought the tub of "Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate Dipped Peppermint Reception Sticks" I said to myself "These here treats would be a fun addition to the Thanksgiving spread." And they have the word "Thin" in the description. They are DIET treats.

And now, I have a wee pile of wrappers and a half empty tub of said treats. I had myself a little reception. Which is okay, because I was seriously never considering sharing these. Nope.

Exactly what I would have done!

Have a good thanksgiving :)

Hey, sometimes the party's with your own bad self are waaaay more fun than a party with other people :)

I've never had those, but I am no longer allowed to buy the TJ's "Tiny Crunchy Chocolate Chip Cookies" in a tub. Ever.

I bought a package of white chocolate-dipped coffee beans (much better than it sounds) for a friend's birthday and had eaten the lot within the hour. No regrets.

If they made you smile - which is abundantly clear from your post - then they were absolutely worth it.

Reminds me of what I did to the miniature Snicker's bars after Halloween. I still can't believe I ate as many as I did. But I refuse to feel any guilt :)

I don't think I've ever seen these "Trader Joe's" treats, but they sound like they are right up my alley. I just know I would have a little party with those peppermint sticks. I'm off to see if I can order some on-line!

Heh heh. Sounds delish!

haha I do much the same.

Only, I buy stuff for my husband, or my girls... I give them a small portion - Can't give em too much sugar, or it will go straight to their heads kinda thing .. and pocket the rest away.

I end up with a nice stash of goodies :)
