She Gets It From Me, I Think
I forgot this funny tidbit from the party:
My youngest was mixing it up just fine with the big kids, bouncing and sliding, when the party attendant wheeled a little tykes Red Coupe out of some storage area. That was it. My two year old hopped into that thing, flagged down the nearest big kid and demanded that they push her.
Never mind that the car is foot powered. Never mind that the kids were there to bounce and play on the jumpies. My girl managed to manipulate all the big kids and most of the parents into pushing her queenly butt from one end of the arena to the other, and back again. She rode along, holding her feet 1/2 inch above the carpet, waving and occasionally tooting the horn.
After this went on for half an hour, she decided to jump some more, and parked the coupe. Another toddler jumped in and drove off to the chagrin of my sweet tempered child. My girl took a running leap off of the jumpie she was in, raced after the car yelling "Wait! Mine! Wait!" and then, before anyone reacted, yanked the car door open and grabbed the other kid by the back of the shirt. She gave a ferocious growl and started to haul the protesting driver out of the car.
I finally caught on and swooped in to break it up. The other kid was panicked and I had to try to soothe that kid while I redirected my little carjacker to another activity. She loves to share, really. I just don't know what got into her.

My almost two year old has started that. I swear it's like he changes into another baby when someone touches something he was playing with! I think it's from having so many siblings!
She sounds like a beauty queen in the making! My daughter is now spoiled. I didn't do it. Her father did! I know she is going to do the whole hamming it up routine! She already bats her pretty little lashes at me!

Ooooh, I know your pain so well. My oldest had the hardest time sharing when she was one and two.
Michele sent me, but I come by here anyway on my own.
