Rare Form
The boy is on the mend. I know this because he hasn't stopped talking for 24 hours. I mean, sure, the prattling is interspersed with coughing that sounds like an 80 year old emphysema patient, but overall he's not a limp, sweaty pile of pathetic boy this morning. I am grateful for the quick turn around.
So, although I had to get up twice to squirt stuff into his mouth and bring him juice, I actually slept in my own bed for the first time in a week. I actually slept. Apparently I was snoring pretty good, too. I had weird dreams with lots of dancing in them.
*Update* Started this entry, had tantrums to deal with, got kid one down for nap, kid two into bath and ring, ring, hello, this is the school and kid three has a 102 degree fever. I was all "Hi, I'm still in pajamas, one kid is asleep and the other is in the bath. I'll be there in 10 minutes."
Nice. So my two oldest are sleeping, and my youngest is due for her nap, although she's been boycotting the last few days just out of spite.
I know, people. You're like, get a notify list and let us know when you are going to write about funny stuff again. The best I can muster right now is funny grunting noises.
Ah yes, here comes my wee monster now. She is standing with one hand on her hip and shaking her other fist at me, demanding "I suggle you. C'mon, c'mon. Suuuuuugle. Now, mama. C'mon mama. I suggle you." Have mercy. I'm off to be suggled.

Awww! Enjoy the suggles. Hope they aren't laced with germs.

See? What did I tell ya? Non. Stop. Talking. I think it's time to do tequila shots.

Suggles. I remember suggles. Sigh. Hope the bugs are all gone soon and they're all back to the regularly scheduled laller laller station. And don't worry when your post isn't a laugh riot. Funny grunting noises will suffice until the kidlets are well again.

I'm calling in HazMat and having them put a tent around the house!

LOL, I love your "be there in 10" line.
And don't stress about the funny stuff, I like reading random details of peoples' days.
