What Evah

My name is Jenny, and it has been four days since my last Pumpkin Spice Latte.

Seriously, do they put crack in those? Because I have a truly out-of-proportion longing to get another one, and I'm not a frou-frou coffee drinking person.

Last night? I dreamed about a PSL. That is baaaaaad.

So, anyway. Lots of little drivel to share this foggy first morning of autumn. Happy Autumnal Equinox! Hey! A good reason to have a Pumpkin Spice Latte! Ooh! Or make Pumpkin cupcakes with chocolate chips!

I must break free of the 'Bucks. I will hang tough. Besides, I look kind of frumpy today, which precludes any notion I might have of venturing into a coffee house.

I am also feeling rotund, which is not a shock, because hello, I'm a generously sized whoa-man. Perhaps I am absorbing extra water out of the foggy air. Whatever. I am annoyed by my largess. Or should I say, large-ass. Heh.

I assumed with the start of school that my life would somehow become less cluttered, and that I would be able to accomplish great things.

Woo! That right there is a good knee-slapper.

No, I seem to be MORE disorganized. More frazzled. More frumpy. All of which makes the idea of the Sexy Pirate Costume even funnier. But still! I have to get myself straight, before I become lost under a pile of laundry, or eaten by the armies of ants who find my abode so scrum-dilly-icious.

In short, I need to kick myself in the butt and get busy. Oh, but I would rather sip a PSL. And blog about it.

See, I need staff. I need a housekeeper, and a nanny, and a gardener, and a personal chef, and a personal trainer and a personal shopper. I need personnel. I need a personal freakin' PSL.

Alas, I do not have these necessities. So I guess I better get up offa my duckus and get to work.

No, honey. You don't need a staff. What you need is a WIFE!

Isn't Fall yummy? And I love all of the festive beverages and treats S'bucks trots out this time of year. Damn them!

You are funny Mizz Jen. You write of Coffee drinks and feeling fat, neither topic particularly amusing in a vacuum. Yet, you make them a funny, no FUNNY read.

You have that...how do you say...J'est N'est e quois. No?

You would look totally hot in the sexy pirate costume. Think of the "AAAR!" that would emit from your man. I predict a 4th child due about July 1. Wait! That's my birthday! WTF! Mom? DAD? What the Hell did you WEAR Halloween 1971? Finding corner in which to shudder in....

No Jenny, what you need is an agent!! You are SO funny! You need to write a book. I love your blog...your family escapades are sooo like many of mine, but yours are way more amusing 'cause you have the gift!!
You deserve a daily PSL, girl! :)

First let me tell you.. staff is overrated. We have someone who comes in 3 times a week and cleans our house. But I clean it before she gets there.. cuz heaven forbid she sees how we really live. Oh surely I am not the only one that does that?

You need me. I am the ultra-organized.. I put Martha and her labeled boxes to shame.. kinda girl. I will get you set up in no time :)

I love fall. I love all the smells. I was just looking for our pumpkin pancake recipe and pumpkin cheesecake recipe.

I have been laughing over that pirate maiden costume for awhile. Of course you need to get it! (Looks good on while drinking a PSL...)

You know it's bad when you've broken in down into slang=PSL!

in a few years you personal staff can be your children and a few years after that, you can encourage them aspire to being a barista and then it's all the PSL you can drink!

Girly, you crack me up! I had that same delusion about school starting. We'll have a routine. I'll be down to one kid in the morning. I'll get so much done! Whatevah! I still have to try the PSL. I need that kind of energy.

Never had one, but it sounds divine. What are we missing out on in Australia.

Go get yourself the PSL. It's Friday.

Holding out for the peppermint mocha here!

Ooooh Busy Mom mentioned my favorite (which you CAN get year-round - just have them add peppermint syrup to a mocha - but I'll admit that the holiday cups do add a special je ne sais quoi).

I used to go to a deli for lunch where I swore they laced the pasta salad with crack. I would think about it all morning, and if they were out of it when I got to the deli for lunch, I didn't recover until I got home and had an apple martini (a meager substitute for pasta salad).

came via Buffi - love reading you. :)
i'd love a staff too. ants? are you loco?
