Had I Only Known
My son spotted the little Mozilla icon on my desktop over my shoulder as I was paying bills online.
"Mommy! That's a new dinosaur picture right there! Is that a game?"
"No, honey. It's Mozilla."
"Coooool. Is it a game?"
"Nope. It's a browser."
My daughter chimed in. "Mom? What's a browser?"
My son shot her an exasperated look and said "Duh. It's when you don't return your book at the library and you have to just look. Duh."
My ears perked up at that. "Oh, shoot. Was it library day?"
My son looked me dead in the eye and said "Just call me Mozilla. Raaaaaaaar."

When my 4 yr old daughter saw the mozilla firefox logo on my screen she said "why are you clicking on the fox and not the e" up until that point I hadn't realised that the logo was actually a fox. I though it was just a cool swirly thing. Doh!

Ok - this comment is going to have almost nothing to do with this particular entry, except that it does involve dinosaurs, and the original post where I first heard of Laurie Berkner appears to be closed for comments ;-) But I just had to tell you that I recently bought a Laurie Berkner DVD (after having read some of your entries last year while I was pregnant and filing the info away for future reference). My daughter, although she's only 7 months, appears to really love it. But what I really have to tell you is that I can't hear the "we are the dinosaurs" song without thinking of your son. And I don't know you! But everytime I hear it, it makes me think of all of the hilarious stories I've read here about your little dino-fanatic ;-) Thanks for the Laurie Berkner tip too - I think she's great!
