It Just Keeps On Going
Hey! Another non-entry entry! Click the play button for a little holiday cheer.
Let's see:
1) We bought a new microwave today.
2) I finally picked up my Girl Scout nut order from my friend's house.
3) I ate an entire pinapple.
4) My dog's nails need to be trimmed.
5) I glued on fake nails not five minutes ago. That makes typing tough.
6) My husband roused the entire family this morning shortly after dawn to see a full rainbow coloring the western sky.
7) It rained buckets. It was also sunny.
8) I forget what eight was for.
9) I pulled out the Christmas CDs. I still love Mambo, Santa, Mambo.
10) I'm going to watch a movie with my man. And play footsie.
NaBloPoMo - Day 26
Comments
No! After performing "Mambo, Santa, Mambo" a gajillion batrillion times with the sign choir when I was performing, I was so very over it. Although, it has been a few years. Maybe I can forgive Santa for his frickin' Mambo self. Maybe.
Now, if you want to talk fun, let's sing I Want A Hippopotamus for Christmas. Fun.

I went on a diet once that called for me to eat two pineapples in one day - it made my tongue bleed like crazy. I haven't eaten one since. GROSS!
Mambo, Santa, Mambo? That sounds insane!

Hey ! Another Mambo Santa Mambo lover !!!
I brought a CD years ago called "Rockin' Christmas" in was a mixture of many different 'modern' carols. I brought it with some other CD's to play in my diner-type restaurant the 1st Christmas Season that I was there...'Mambo Santa Mambo' very quickly became my absolute favorite Christmas song...in fact one year for Christmas I gave out copies I made of just that song over and over and over to my waitstaff with there Christmas Bonuses. My employees, and customers actually started to request hearing it during the season. Well the restaurant is now just a memory of the past and the CD lost to time and scratches, but this year I was remembering it fondly and went into Amazon.com and ordered a new CD, then I found your site and listened to it a couple of times. THEN I called the one waitress that I still keep in touch with and played the song from your site over my computer to her answering machine. I can't wait till she calls back after hearing it. Thanks so much for posting it !! Merry Christmas !!!!
