Sizzling
Today, I purchased a tin of Altoids - the curiously strong Cinnamon flavored Altoids.
I figured that if I'm sick of fruit, I might as well spice things up. Or, you know, burn the crap out of my tongue.
Curiously strong doesn't even begin to touch the sensation of the Cinnamon Altoids. In fact, I was on the telephone with Jenn when I popped one in my mouth.
Me: Mmmm. Ooh! *pant pant pant*
Jenn: What's going on over there?
Me: Wow! Ooh! *pant pant pant*
Jenn: I am uncomfortable.
Me: *pant pant* Oops! Bwahahahahahaha~
Jenn: *crickets chirping*
Me: I had my tongue sticking so far out of my mouth that it fell on the floor!
Jenn: Um...
Me: Wooo! Time for another one. Mmm. Wooo! Ouch. Wait. Wooo!
Jenn: I have to go.
This plan to add flavor to my sad, fruit consuming life was a bad one. I caved tonight, and ate real food. 9 days of fruit is enough for this girl.

I've never liked cinnamon flavored stuff for that very reason. Burns like heck. If I wanted heat I'd suck on a jalepeno thanks.

Speaking of fruits... your entry reminded me of this great magazine I discovered. I have been reading your blogs for a little while and I thought you might enjoy this magazine. It's called Kiwi and its about growing families the organic way. Tres Tres interesting. Maybe it will help you and your fruit deliquent ways.
