Weeping Salty Tears
Allergies. Hot damn.
My son and youngest daughter have non-stop snot, and my eyes are weeping constantly, which combined with the post-nasal trip and subsequent repeated throat clearings, has made me the picture of loveliness.
The drivers that dropped off my Saturn Vue today probably took one look at my dust-covered van and thought I was weeping for joy.
Dude, I get to drive a brand new Saturn Vue for a week. I'll be reviewing it later on, but so far, just the whole new car smell is rocking my socks off. Woooooo!
In other news, I've been offered a Contributing Editor position at BlogHer. I'm going to be reviewing movies! I want suggestions for things to order from NetFlix - and tell me what to see at the theatre. Keep in mind that I've seen approximately nothing in the last three years - all your recommendations are belong to us.

Oooo....movies! I just started watching them again, kind of got out of the habit for awhile there.
Highly recommend Bride and Prejudice for some great laughs!

I vote for Pan's Labyrinth. Yeah, it's subtitled, but it's such a great film that you'll get instantly wrapped up in the story and forget that you're reading. www.panslabyrinth.com Check out the reviews here if you need convincing: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/pans_labyrinth/ Enjoy!

Awesome gig! I am a movie addict and reviewing them would be so cool! Good for you! Can it be any kind of movie or does it have to be kid friendly?

Spirited Away. It's japanese anime and really a fantastic movie. The story of a 10 year old girl (spoiled) who has to learn the values of self-reliance, generousity, hard work, and kindness.

Well...for the kids, I'd say Happy Feet. Our little one has watched it non stop since we got it. For the adults, I just saw Blood Diamond. What a great movie. Those are my picks!
