A Good Morning
As I pulled out of the driveway this morning, my mind already spinning ahead to the day's projects, I heard the kids start to bicker.
"I want to start it."
"No, me."
"I want to start it!"
"Fine, but I'm going to do the other part."
I glanced in the rear view mirror and then flicked my eyes back to the road in front of me. The kids started patting their knees twice and then clapping once. Then my son's voice came in.
"We will we will rock you."
Then all three kids joined in. They don't know any other lyrics, but that was okay with me this morning.

That'll keep their hands busy.
For a few minutes, anyway...

That's hilarious! Me? I would've joined right on in, thumping the steering wheel and all. Your kids rock!

My 5 year-old refers to Madonna’s “like a Virgin” as the Shrek song; “I made it through the will-ner-ness I think I made it throuuugh, don’t care if I’m lost or found but I am twooo. I have feet, that can beat, I’ve been sad, yep, I like the color blue, and it makes me feeeeel shinny and new….Like a pig-eon, touched for the very first time, like a piggggeeeeoooonnnn”…..
That was cute to me, until my older 7 year-old started to sing “it’s getting hot in here, so….. When I turned to look at her she stopped, shrugged, and asked me “what?”. I asked her to continue with that little jiggle, she then claimed “That’s all I know”…yea right, little stinker.

Hi Jenny, your blog is very warming. I wonder if you could call past my blog and tell as many as you can. I have a very important post.

LOL! I love that! My kids like to sing, too. If I join in, though, I get in trouble. I mean I know I don't have a good singing voice, but that hurts just a little. :)
