It Permeates My Soul
It started about an hour ago, and it is making me crazy.
It is (big) laundry day here at Three Kid Circus, and I'm wearing one of my "bra-tanks" that I avoid because they contain, but do not uplift, if you're getting my drift.
Every time I move my arm, the plastic underwire squeaks. So I'm sitting here typing, and my armpits are emitting a creaking sound. I lift my coffee cup for a sip? Creaking. I pick up the phone? Creaking.
I'm also wearing my "old" tennis shoes, since my "new" tennis shoes got saturated with reclaimed irrigation water when I picked the kids up from school yesterday. Nothing says "saving the planet's resources" like poop-smelling sneakers!
The shoes I'm wearing squeak when I walk. That annoying, every-step-I-take kind of squeaking.
If that wasn't rude enough, I've developed a nose-whistle. No amount of blowing has altered this fact, and until I locate the saline spray I bought a few weeks ago, I'm tweeting like a bird every inhale and exhale.
All I need is a good case of flatulence and I can rent myself out.

Don't you hate days like that. On Oprah the other day the guest who was on said that we as women should tell ourselves how beautiful we are and we will start feeling beautiful. Cue the nose-whistle. :)

Wow, you've got something clean to wear on Big Laundry Day? It's BLD here, too, and when I say there's not a clean stitch in this house, I mean it.
You've met me, so you KNOW how truly terrible this is.
Sorry to put that image in your mind.

Yeah, laundry day. Yukky old clothes and a sports bra - yeah - I'M athletic - I can relate to it. But all the squeaks and whistles? I think I would be out of my mind! Poor you!

But, think about it. You had something to write about today! Yay.
I am deaf in one ear because I don't get colds. I get snot in the left ear. Now, isn't that a pretty picture?

On days like that I turn off my hearing aids. Oh, you don't wear hearing aids? Then it's time to try earbuds or headphones.

Here it is the day before big laundry day, so I am wearing an underwire bra from my cute days. It doesn't fit but it doesn't squeak either.
Not sure which is worse, but wishing you a better day tomorrow.

I have a pair of heels that have a squeak and the few times I've worn them I think I sound like the little old church lady from Sixteen Candles.

What you need is an asthmatic wheeze to round things out. I woke myself up last night, wheezing in my sleep. It was not so much that it was uncomfortable, but just loud.
It's not Laundry Day at my house, but rather Grocery Day. I have some food around, but most of it would not combine to make anything especially logical or edible.

Sweet, thanks for the laugh on a boring morning at work.

Oh, Laundry day. I always seem to end up wearing my pajamas or sweats until most of it's done.
