There Are Few Things More Agreeable
My son is taking piano lessons now - a gift from my sister who runs a piano studio. He's an enthusiastic and capable student, and he's found his theme song in "Ode to Joy."
He plays it, over and over and over.
My youngest has a special dance she does to accompany his efforts on the piano. It is like that arms crossed, legs kicked out in front Russian dance, with twirling breaks built in. It is very entertaining, I must admit.
Donna the Dog thinks this is just a little too confusing, and barks and runs in circles when the kids start up their act.
Of course, my oldest can't have the younger two be the center of attention, so she immediately goes into her "Hey mom, hey, hey, hey, mom! Hey, mom! Mom!" routine while I'm trying to supervise so that the dog doesn't knock the dancing kid over.
Even with all the crazy, it just doesn't get much better than this.

Sounds heavenly. Piano practice in my house commences with much cajoling, yelling and crying (me or my husband) and usually ends with someone screaming "I wish you never signed me up for lessons! This is the WORST thing you ever did to me!!!" (her).

I hope your sister is giving you the family discount. How wonderful that your child is enjoying music at such a young age. Best wishes for continued success and enthusiasm.
