Moving Right Along

Oh, family-togetherness time! How I am so done with you!

Not one but TWO three-day weekends! A progressive cold and fever that struck us down one at a time, so that we could experience the joy of one cranky, sweating family member each three-day period. Why get these things over in one week, when you can make it last two?

Yes, I am ready for everyone to get the heck back to the routine and let me do my thing. Whatever that is. Does anyone out there remember if I had a thing? A thing I do?

I'll tell you one thing I've been working on: knitting an elephant. Not just any elephant, mind you, but this adorable pattern:

Isn't that so super cute?

You wanna see what my efforts look like?

Awww...that 'is' super cute!!

That elephant is too cute. You need to make one and give it away on your blog so I can win it! (Or, just make me one like it, whatevs.)

You're so right! Super cute. Glad you're taking some time to do something fun.

It's cute. Yours has potential. Hope everyone gets better soon!

*singing*Jen-nee's knitting a dil-do....*

Oh, I think you've got something else on your mind! Or maybe I do...but what you're holding there..yep, something else. ;-)

We had the two long weekends in a row, too; I love it--I don't have to get up early.
Your elephant is coming along nicely and is very cute!

I'm giggling like a 12 year old boy.

My but that would chafe.

I'm impressed-you made an elephant's head and trunk! Sorry to hear about everyone being sick, us too. Get better soon!

I would laugh, but I can't even sew a button on, so I won't. I'm sure it will be a very cute elephant when it's done!

He is soooo cute!! I like the color you're using too.

oh that's cute. i'm just getting into knitting. i should try this sometime and see how i do.

Oh, the memories you conjure. Mine are all but grown, so no more of what you've described. But hey! I'm the replacement for the "sweating family member" and having a grand old time rip-roaring through menopause. Yessir. And the elephant is way cute. Discuss the photo at the bottom of the page? Erm. Your knitting is nice and neat? ;)

Holy crap, I'm about to pee my pants, girl. TOO FUNNY! The only worse thing would be if it were BLUE. HAHHAHAH!

YOU ROCK though! I'm proud of you, knitting queen!

Did you finish it yet?!??!?! DO SHOW US!

It's adorable...
