A Few Of My Favorite Things
Yesterday, I spent the day in the office with my coworkers. ALL of my coworkers. For the first time ever. And although I love working in my closet, there was something electric about seeing all the people who I know primarily through emails and frantic instant messages.
After meetings and announcements and more meetings and a really yummy dinner, Jenifer and I headed up to the Westin St. Francis, where we discovered our room is approximately the size of an airplane hanger. With a chandelier and 12 foot ceilings.
The bathroom is larger than my kitchen. I've been a little reluctant to leave the room, frankly, because I can spin around in circles and make snow-angels on the carpet and maybe I could have 30 or 40 friends join me because our room is just that big.
So, anyway - I forgot to put new batteries in my camera, so I'm off to do that, and then to get some lunch because I'm giddy... BlogHer is here, and I'm just thrilled to be here.

Sounds like your escape from "the real world" is just what you need to regroup and thrive!
Last night CBS SF did a nice spot on the conference and the 3 girls traveling by car to the event. Enjoy, learn and get to know as many people as possible!
Looking forward to hearing all the best and worst, Mom

I couldn't believe how HUGE those rooms were! I've lived in studio apartments smaller than that -- it was great! :)
