NaBloPoMo #3

My 11-year-old daughter had just informed me that she is participating in NaNoWriMo. For reals.

This makes my almost-guaranteed failure at NaBloPoMo even more pathetic, because my girl is actually quite likely to stick with it.

Of course, she may spend the next month writing out her birthday plans for the next 20 years of her life, and making a list of all the pets that A NICE MOM would allow her to have, and providing supporting documentation to prove that a) these pets are, like, awesome and b) I'm not a nice mom.

Also likely is a job responsibilities roster for the summer camp she wants to establish in 2011, where she is the co-boss and people like you send your children to an undisclosed location to master new skills like... what? What activities is she planning? Events planning and debate skills? Imaginary animal husbandry for kids with Not Nice Moms? Advanced eye-rollling? Are you ready to send your children and your money?

I totally need to have her make a Vision Board. Also, I'm scared of that.

Anyway, she's gunning for 50K words this month, and given her recent flair for the dramatics, I'm betting it will be made of awesome.
