Welcome to the Month of Jenny
Well, hello, friends! It is October, also popularly known as the 39th Annual Jenny Month.
Yes, on Thursday, I will slide down a metaphoric banister, thumbing my nose at the notion that gaining a year is a bad thing. I've always liked the odd-numbered years the best, so I think that 39 is going to be a good'un.
This month I plan to:
- eat fondue, possibly at a restaurant
- take my sister roller skating (and possibly to a roller derby match)
- replace all my sad bras with Happy Bras.
- reorganize my workspace (ha! ha ha! Like it was organized ever to begin with!)
- give up swearing (out loud) unless the situation cannot be dealt with any other way, which I'm already off to a great effing start with, if I do say so myself.
- buy a pair of rumba panties
- exfoliate and moisturize with a vengeance
- learn four new jokes
- plan a vacation with my family

Funny I've always liked the even numbered years best! Happy 39th month to you. BTW, what are rumba panties??

It's also the 48th year of Denise and I am not effing giving up swearing. No way no how. I'm too old for that shit. ;-)

Happy Belated 39th! I like your list of things to do this month. Re: the "Happy Bras" - I had a bra fitting at JC Penney of all places, learned I was wearing the completely wrong size, got the right size - and it was a miracle. I even looked thinner with the girls lifted up in the right places :)
